I think I know who told Gordon about Sam.
Ash.
So totally Ash.
-He had the list of psychics. It took him no time at all to get it. Sam even remarked that it took him no time at all to get it.
-Sam's included on his list. So is Scott.
-Gordon knew about Sam and Scott. Not just one or the other.
-The only other possibility is Jo, and she took off immediately post-No Exit (I think, although it could've been a few days, allowing her time to come into contact with Gordon). However, Gordon wasn't back at the roadhouse before the boys or he would've waited for them. Also, if he'd come into contact with Jo between Bloodlust and No Exit, he'd have used her to find them, because he'd have been pissed.
-Also: I want it to be Ash because I love inner-circle betrayals. Yes, I realize this isn't a good reason.
ETA: I suppose Ellen is also technically a possibility, but I just don't think she'd do it. She doesn't bear them the same ill-will that Jo does and doesn't have the same bitterness about life in general that Ash does. I realize that this is also not a good reason.

Date: 2007-01-14 06:51 am (UTC)Come on! Explaining not having Ash run a search for the children who did have nursery fires just because it means they won't find the ones who didn't is the lamest ever plot point reveal. So, while what you're arguing makes perfect sense to me, I'm reluctant to try and explain the writers' motivations through logic and continuity. Whoever it was that tipped Gordon off will probably become an issue later on, seeing as how they took 2 minutes talking about it but I think it'll probably be someone new. Besides, I don't trust these guys to handle inner-circle betrayal properly.
