I'm off to an over-1667 word start. I will call this "promising" and not pursue the point.

In addition, I've started a community for my novel, not_half_two, so I don't have to log in and out of yet another journal and also so my novel is nicely contained in journal that I can manipulate more effectively.

The first...chapter? Set of words. Is located here, should you choose to poke over and have a look. Subsequent updates will be noted here as well.

*breathes*

The story is coming together people. Coming together. And I'm no longer in a constant stare-down with the characters, which is a welcome change.

Thanks. :) It's always a lot of fun, whether or not it turns out well, and by the end of the month there's always at least something salvageable. Off to write!
