Okay, those of you who watch BSG? Why did you not force me to sit down and watch it? What kind of friends are you?

I caught the first few minutes of an episode by accident this weekend, and it made me keep watching, even though I didn't know anything about the characters or the story or the structure of the fleet. So I went to scifi.com (which, by the way, has the most awesome special features) and started reading about the show and ended up staying up all night watching the extras and downloading episodes.

Yeah, you guessed it, I've found yet another fandom. *sigh*

So, anyone find any good BSG fic yet?

SQUEE! I did the exact same thing, Carmen! Hannah and i are going to watch the pilot when it reairs next Fri so that we can jump onto the bandwagon late together. :)

Yay! Another show you and I and Hannah can obsess over! ;) I haven't dived headfirst into a fandom like this for a long time--I'd forgotten how good it feels.

I'll definitely check out the comm--thanks for the rec. I'm looking forward to watching the season!

OMG, i know! Me too. I havent been head over heels in love with something since Stargate came to the Sci Fi channel in... gosh i think its been two or three years now (i didnt get Showtime when it was on there, and really didnt even know about it till Ams mentioned it to me once). It feels so cool to be headfirst in something again.

And im not the only one jumping onboard so late in the game! Thats what makes me feel really normal. ;) :p

I'm so excited about watching the first season in its entirety! I think I might have fallen just a little bit in love with Billy already, and I don't even know him. *bounces*
