So much to do...so little time
Feb. 26th, 2004 11:04 pmOnce again, 24 hours just isn't enough. Days are too short to fit in everything you'd like to get done, and nights are too short to fit in all the sleep you should be getting. I can't wait until the days get longer again - that's something I'm awaiting impatiently, to say the least.
I wrote more on Breezes and Blizzards but it still needs some polishing, so I'm saving it to work on later instead of posting. No comments yet, but I know at least my sister read. She's a wonderfully constructive critic, and she even caught a typo that I missed when I edited. Needless to say, I corrected it before anyone else could notice. I've made errors like that before, and it's always embarrassing when one of your readers says something like, "Nice job, but did you notice that you put 'her' when you really meant 'he?'"
I practiced my harp for hours today, and fixed the lever that kept buzzing. I just sat down and started playing all the songs in random books. I think it was therapy for something or other - what exactly, I don't know.
Saturday orchestra should be fun, but before then I have to go to my sister's play and finish the newsletter. This has been one stressful week and I have to say I'll be glad to see it go.
