24 hours is simply not long enough

xaaraI had too much to do and too little time today - lots of homework and a Youth Orchestra concert all piled up until I didn't have time to do much except homework, practicing, and performing. I ate this morning and this evening, with a granola bar in between. Sometimes I wonder how musicians and writers become overweight - if they're anything like me, they never have time to eat.
The Writers' Newsletter has taken up a great deal of my time lately, and I've been scrounging around on various public domain websites trying to find good Jules Verne excerpts. It's his birthday this month and we're mostly a scifi community, so I thought it appropriate to commemorate him. Then, when I started poking through all the material that's in the public domain, I realized exactly how much there is. It's like a complete library at your fingertips, and useful when you're quoting literature that otherwise might be difficult to find. Besides, it's fun.
I think I might stay home from school on Wednesday and finish my English essay, book report, physics homework, newsletter editing, beta-reading, and chapter writing. But on the other hand, I think we might have softball practice that day, and I don't want to miss that... I'll see what I have time to do when the assignments arrive. I won't sleep at all this week but hey, who needs sleep? It's overrated anyway.
