I've been trying to get back into the Home in Time for Supper mindset for the past two days, and I think I'm finally making progress. Which is good, because I've let the SW fiction slip while I've been working on the BtVS, and I've let all of that go to work on original stories. I have OC interviews to write now, as I've volunteered to help out with that on the JC, and I should be working on them.

Oh, and on a side note, school's out. I know I should sound more excited about that, but I've been phasing school out of my life for almost a month now. Some classes just aren't worth coming to after a certain point.

So I'm off, up, up, and away, and writing again! Using exclamation points! Being crazy!Carmen! Being hyper!Carmen! Being needstocutbackonchocolate!Carmen!

!!!!!

God I love exclamation points.

And look, I've stuck with my self-challenge for an entire two days:

<<<<>>>><<<<>>>><<<<>>>><<<<>>>>

Angel

I love my job; I hate my office. More accurately, I hate this run-down hotel, and that I have no resources and, hey, the chair behind my desk isn't even all that comfortable. Mostly, I hate my telephone.

This time, I let the phone ring twice before I answer. "Angel Investigations."

"Angel? This is Rupert Giles."

Oh. "Yes?"

"I'm sorry to call you under these circumstances, but--"

I speak in monosyllables for the remainder of our awkward conversation. When I hang up the phone, I sit for a minute before rising, grabbing a sword.

I have to kill something.

Hey! Carmen! You've had too much chocolate!

Hey Sillywench. Glad to see you are helping out with the OC interviews: they are very cool and just a great idea overall.

I hope you stick with the Buffy drabs: I kinda like 'em. Never been huge on Buffy, but the guys are hot ('specially Giles: I know I'm a freak) and it's Joss Whedon and he's a Genius!

You're calling me sillywench? When all I have to do is raise my finger and point at a certain Talk Like A Pirate Day story? *looks away innocently*

I hope I stick with the drabbles too - they're fun. I wasn't a big Buffy fan until last year (the title of the show was just too stupid for me to sit down with it until my friends forced me). And yes, the guys are quite easy on the eyes. ;)

Y'know, that whole TLAPDay thing... Rani and I started that. My sister sent me the info on it two years ago, and she and I wrote and posted the first Rogue Squad TLAPDay vignette. In prep the next year, I posted links all over the JC, and it turned into this huge silly thing: perhaps the single most hated surprise holiday the boards have ever experienced. :) I'm so proud.!

And this from an author with a rep for Jedi Tragedy. :)
