The first time I saw that movie, I sat all the way through the end credits without moving. And then I just stopped the tape, and didn't rewind it. It seemed, at the time, almost heartless to just rewind past what had happened like it was unimportant.
Not only was it an excellent portrayal of an event that should not be forgotten, it also presented an eloquent reminder of why it should not be forgotten.
And now every time I listen to Albinoni's "Adagio for Strings and Organ" (the piece that plays throughout the movie), I can't help tearing up.
