Several resolutions & one announcement
Dec. 23rd, 2006 12:15 pmI will no longer say "Merry Christmas." I will instead say "Happy Christmas." I like keeping 'em off-balance.
I will finish some more poems in my Arlington cycle.
I will not be sucked in by "Friday Night Lights" even though I watched the pilot and it made me care about football, which for me is like caring about a cockroach. (However: I would totally watch a show about cockroaches playing football. And write fic for it. But anyway.)
The Announcement: I'm leaving my computer at home. Which means that my internet access over the next week or so will be extremely sporadic. *feels withdrawal starting*
Happy Christmas! (or whatever you celebrate! or if you don't celebrate anything, whatever you don't celebrate!)

Date: 2006-12-23 11:21 pm (UTC)You really should. The visuals are stunning and so is the acting. I'd say there're definite problems with the storylines but the cinematography is so good that you don't notice those until after the fact.

Date: 2006-12-24 04:27 am (UTC)If you want to REALLY throw them off, try "Happy Christmas an' a Canty Hogmanay." I brought this saying back to you from Scotland. Enjoy it. (ps- Hogmanay is New Year's for them. But it's like... 4 days long and involves torches and short bread.)
