I came home from my GW class today to find, sitting on my desk, a rather large 8 1/2 by 11 package from the University of Michigan. I ripped it open, looked at the top sheet of paper, and

I got in!

I am not going to spend my life as a high school graduate who never gets any further than 12th grade!

I'd write more, but I can't physically sit in my computer chair for very long. So. Yeah.

Sorry, I'm going to do this one more time:

I got in!

And now I'm off to run around and eat chocolate.

Eeee! There's nothing like that high you get from an acceptance letter, is there?

Just out of curiosity, where does U of M rank on your pref list?

Congrats! :D

:-o Congrats! U of M is a really good school :-D (at least in classical philology, where it's ranked top tier. I neither know or care about any other subject ;-) )

No, there isn't anything like it. Right now, U of M is about third--after the University of Wisconsin-Madison and U-Chicago. Thanks. :)

Hehe, thanks, Atty. It's right up there in pretty much all sorts of Humanities (including English, which is just about all I'm interested in.) It's definitely a good school, and I wouldn't mind going there at all.

Really? That's cool! It's in a beautiful part of the country, and I just liked the way the whole place felt. Thanks. :)
