In Which Carmen Suffers Extreme Boredom and Wishes a Happy Birthday

I have not been this bored in months. I'm sitting here, staring at my computer, and I feel no need to write, no need to listen to music, no need to find reading material, no need to talk to someone. And if I try to snap myself out of it by doing one of those above-mentioned things, I simply discover that I'm completely and utterly unable to deal with the attention it takes to manage any single task. On top of that, of course, I can't sleep. I either need a coffee or a sleeping pill, and I'm not sure which way I'm leaning at the moment.

In brighter news, miliani_2000, a.k.a. My Little Sister, a.k.a. That Tall Skinny Person who Lives in my House, celebrated her birthday today. And since I'm a horrible sister and *cringe* forgot to get a present, I promised her a girls' afternoon sometime next week. This post will hold me to it.
