Constrained

xaara"I'm feeling constrained by the salad," my brother said at dinner, directing his words at the salad bowl close to his left elbow.
There was silence.
"Well," Mom said at length before dropping into a Texan drawl, "He don't say much, but what he says is damn profound."
That was it for dinner. We couldn't look at the salad without giggling, and we certainly couldn't listen to Mom talk without hearing her "damn profound."
Then we turned in for Family Movie Night and watched Evita, which was as good as I remembered. I love Antonio Banderas in that movie - it's a perfect part for him.
I wanted to write more, but I forgot what I was going to say and now that it's 0130 it suddenly seems less important to remember.
