He so totally thought about it. And his counselor told him to go; he even arranged for Dean to meet with an admissions officer in Casper who laid out all the options, all the financial aid they had available for low-income students. Dean applied, because they waived the application fee anyway and so he figured why the hell not, and nothing surprised him more than the day the letter showed up and it didn't say no.
